Terms and Conditions

Please read these Terms and Conditions ("Terms") carefully before using the Mira mobile application ("App") operated by NextLevel Portugal ("we," "us," or "our").
By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Mira, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms, as well as our Privacy Policy. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and NextLevel Portugal.
2. Description of Service
Mira is a personal subscription management application that helps you:
- Track recurring expenses and subscriptions
- Manage shared subscriptions and split costs among participants
- Monitor annual and monthly billing cycles
- Receive payment reminders and notifications
- View spending summaries and reports
- Display subscription data via home screen widgets
The App is provided on a freemium basis, with a free tier and an optional premium tier ("Mira Premium").
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years of age to use Mira. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you represent that you have obtained parental or guardian consent.
4. Account and Authentication
To use Mira, you must sign in using a supported third-party authentication provider (Google or Apple). By signing in, you authorize us to access the basic profile information provided by that service (such as your name and email address) solely for account identification purposes.
You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account
- All activity that occurs under your account
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access via our contact form
We are not liable for any loss resulting from unauthorized use of your account.
5. Subscription Plans
Free Tier: Basic subscription tracking features at no cost.
Mira Premium: An optional paid subscription unlocking advanced features, available as monthly or annual plans. Premium is purchased through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Billing, renewals, and refunds are governed by the respective platform's terms and policies — not by NextLevel Portugal.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date
- To cancel, manage your subscription in your device's App Store or Play Store settings
- Refund requests must be directed to Apple or Google, as applicable
6. Data and Privacy
Mira is designed with a privacy-first approach:
- Local storage: Your subscription data is stored encrypted on your device using industry-standard encryption provided by the operating system (iOS Keychain / Android Keystore). We do not store financial account numbers, payment card details, or any other sensitive financial data.
- Cloud sync: For backup and multi-device access, subscription data may be synced to a secure cloud database associated with your account. This data is protected and accessible only to you.
- No sensitive financial data: Mira only stores the subscription information you manually enter (name, amount, billing cycle, etc.). We do not have access to your actual bank accounts or payment methods.
- Third-party services: We use third-party service providers for authentication, in-app payments, push notifications, and app analytics. These providers have their own privacy policies and terms that govern their processing of data.
- Push notifications: If you grant permission, the App may send you reminders about upcoming payments. You can revoke this permission at any time in your device settings.

7. User Content
You retain ownership of all subscription data, notes, and other content you enter into the App ("User Content"). By using the App, you grant NextLevel Portugal a limited, non-exclusive license to store and process your User Content solely to provide the App's functionality.
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter. The App does not verify subscription prices, billing dates, or any other data you provide.
8. Prohibited Uses
You agree not to:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the App
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any system or network connected to the App
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
- Reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from the App without our written consent
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the App or its services
- Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or extract data from the App
9. Third-Party Services
The App integrates with third-party services to provide authentication, payment processing, push notifications, and other functionality. Your use of those services is subject to their respective terms of service and privacy policies. NextLevel Portugal is not responsible for the practices or content of any third-party service.
10. Intellectual Property
The App, including its design, code, graphics, trademarks, and all related content, is the exclusive property of NextLevel Portugal or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right, title, or interest in the App beyond the limited right to use it as described herein.
11. Disclaimers
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that:
- The App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure at all times
- Any data stored in the App will not be lost or corrupted
- The App will meet your specific requirements
Mira is a tracking tool only. It does not provide financial advice, and the information displayed is based solely on data you enter. Always verify subscription details directly with your service providers.
12. Termination
By you: You may delete your account at any time from within the App (Settings → Delete Account). Upon deletion, your account and associated cloud data will be permanently removed. Data stored locally on your device will remain until you uninstall the App.
By us: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct we determine to be harmful to the App, other users, or third parties.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this document. For material changes, we will notify you through the App or via email. Your continued use of the App after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Portugal and applicable European Union regulations, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Portugal.
If you are a consumer resident in the European Union, you may also be entitled to mandatory consumer protection rights under the laws of your country of residence.
